While Mortal Online looks into fixing its issues, a number of us are gearing up to play Global Agenda come Feb 1. Dunki will be running as political officer in Mortal Online in ePeen Guild. The decision to not start Icon fresh in MO was not easy to make. With Aere’s recent changes in play time and my wife and I’s new married we have decided to run with some great long time friends and allies to not overwhelm ourselves. ePeen has some of the best players I have ever had the chance to play with and this is an invite for all current Icon players to apply for membership in Mortal Online! Their team is full of many of the long time clan members from our SWG guild back in 2002-2006.
Recruitment will be limited, our only over recruitment will be before the game launches so secure your membership now. 30-50 member roster will be make after launch. Please follow the link to our website and put Dunki/Icon as a reference in the “tell us about you” section of the guild application. Recruitment is limited and membership is not guaranteed, fill the app out thoroughly and completely and also be prepared for a vent interview.

No matter the style or game, Icon has been a Semi-Hardcore guild for the past 7 years. Our goal is to have fun playing with the same core of friends year after year. Along the way we meet new members, build friendships and keep in touch with old friends. Our approach to gaming is combined with our desire to bring in other high quality, like-minded individuals. The average age of Icon’s member base ranges from the mid-20s to the early 30s. Most work or go to school full time while many have families or other real life responsibilities. Our core has been gaming together for years, and that's the way we'd like to keep it. Icon is officially an EST guild; however there are no time zone restrictions for recruits. Please keep in mind that our prime time is typically between 5pm and 4am EST.
To keep our guild environment desirable and drama-free we're careful when recruiting. We've never been about "spamming" guild invites just to assemble a mass of players. Choosing quality members over quantity has been one of our core standards from the beginning. Trial periods are granted to those we deem fit.
Our members will possess the following traits:
Maturity. We cannot stress this enough.
A sense of humor and a sense of loyalty.
The ability to think quickly and react accordingly depending on the situation.
Your game time is balanced with real life responsibilities. Seen one too many mental meltdowns from those who ignore real life.
You can communicate clearly and quickly.
Finally, we're looking for someone that chooses friendships over loot. We are not in it for the loot, but rather good times and the sense of accomplishment we get when we come together as a unit. If you're looking for a loot guild then you need not apply here.
Icon is a PvP guild that believes in maintaining a strong mix of full-time and part-time players. We strive to recruit the best players and offer them and their friends, a great home. All members will follow these policies.
As our guild grows and evolves, our policies may need to be altered or updated to adapt to any newly determined needs. As such, all members are expected to stay current on guild policies.
Looting Rules: Only roll need if an item is needed. Members reported for repeated "improper needing" of of drops will be investigated and ejected as nessessary.
Show respect for fellow guildmates and remember you represent our guild at all times. Elitism, fighting, personal attacks amongst members, or disparaging remarks against the guild or it's members will not be tolerated. Members found inciting such inner guild "drama" will be dealt with swiftly and ejected as nessessary.
Don't assume the person you are talking to shares your personal beliefs. Sexist, racial, and general hatist remarks will not be tolerated. Do us all a favor, keep it to yourself.
We are only as strong as our weakest member. When you are in a guild event, your attention is expected. Members with repeated attention problems, AFK issues, or disruptive behavior may be substituted, and if nessessary, penalized from future events.
In guild events where role spots (tank, melee, ranged, healer) are at a premium, Legionnaries get priority.
While members may not always agree with the decision of an officer or guild leader, they are expected to follow orders promptly and without debate. Suggestions are welcome, arguments are not.
We have our integrity to maintain. Members found violating EULA, or using exploits, cheats, etc will be investigated, and if found guilty of abuse, reported and ejected from the guild.
Warband chat is to be kept clear for leadership announcements. Vent is required in warbands to recieve leader instructions/coordination. While a mic is optional, it is highly recommended.
